First look at Thundercats Movie...
...this is doing the rounds, if this is one of the characters it looks pretty cool to me. Panthro?
and possible movie logo, or fan artwork?

The sculpture looks cool, but as far as the movie is concerned there is just no way for them to make a good movie. No way. Its bound to go down as the next "Doom" movie
Looks like Panthro, but maybe a bit too mean-looking? Nonetheless, it's cool and I can see where it's going in terms of artistic style.
As for creating a decent TC plot into a movie, it can be done. Not extremely easily, but I've thought of a few ways already, so they must have something up their sleeves.
the thundercats are anthromorphalogical cats, with far more human than animal features, this looks good only problem is it looks more like a dog not a cat, it thats a final design it won't work, not to bring it down but it doesnt capture either a cat or character
Panthro, no. Jaga, maybe. Claudus (Lion-O's dad) perhaps, anyone else no way. That face looks old, Panthro was the oldest of the Nobles after Jaga, but not that old, Panthro looked maybe mid 30s if given in human years on the show. Another commentator said it looked too "dog-like". From the top of the head it does, Panthers and Jaguars however (from which Panthro and Jaga are respectively modeled after) do have longer sleeker "dog-like" noses while Lions and Tigers on the other hand have shorter broader faces and short noses. So... This is either A) nothing at all, B) fan art/3d renderings (both images) or C) it's an authentic early "promotional leak".... but as it's source is unconfirmed it is in reality D) bupkis.
I found similar information about 3D Ready technology and movies on www.3D-News.net (not my website) This may help people looking for information on the topic.
wow, unused stuff is cool but at the same time it hurts to see what could have been.
the new animated series in 2010 will feature be in anime style and not CGI but its being worked on by a top of the line studio. It should be of the highest quality. Here's hoping there aren't any more delays or other unforseen circumstances that might derail the series. Even worse, cancelling it altogether.

TETOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
That looks like Panthro to me.
Oooh - I'm so excited! This movie should be great.
The logo has to be fan artwork. I first saw this image about 2 years ago. It's pretty cool regardless.
As for the character bust. I like it. It would probably be a little less cartoonish than a direct copy of the original characters.
For wrinkles, I bet in Jaga
Dude, that's NOT the movie logo - unless they decide to use fan artwork.
That logo has been around for a good few years now - but it is pretty cool - I used it on my blog also! :)
SNAAAARRRRFFF!!!
BTW the bust is not a clay model. Its a 3d model.
I've got a new idear maybe its bengali (blind warrior) that apears later in the series

This could be alright, but I'm looking forward to the Gatchaman/Battle of the Planets/G-Force movie from Imagi.
Bengali wasn't blind. That was Lynx-o. Jaga's a good shout though.
cool headshot but there is NO WAY that logo has anything to do with the movie.. except that its a thundercats logo
i'm only so certain of this because it's a t-shirt design available at places like blahdvd.com and grindstore.. and it has been for years...
i've got an old nokia that had that as my welcome screen.. you can still download it s a wallpaper from some magazines

The model was created with a program called Z-brush! It's a really awesome 3d modeling program!
